Friday, October 7
CraneFest XVII begins with an exciting new program on Friday, October 7, at the Convis Township Hall. Star birdwatcher, Caleb Putnam, will present “Chasing Rare Birds in Michigan – Stories and more!” Caleb’s presentation is part of Michigan Audubon’s Birders’ Soiree. Wine, compliments of Sandhill Crane Vineyard, will be served alongside a bountiful offering of hors d’oeuvres. One lucky program attendee will win a pair of new 10×32 binoculars, courtesy of Eagle Optics. A fine selection of bird-related items will be included in a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting conservation work at Baker Sanctuary.
Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9
